a dreamy lincoln city night
if there was one thing we could both agree on, it was that we wished we had more time in lincoln city.
our plan was to just use lincoln city as a place to rest our heads before meeting up with a group of friends in portland the next day. but as soon as we pulled into our hotel in the early evening (hot mcdonalds in hand), we knew immediately we wanted to stay longer than just one night.
our room was perched up on a hill with windows overlooking the ocean and stunning beach below. the tide was out and shoreline looked as though it went on for days.
it was getting dark, and cold, and we were wiped from a day of driving, but we knew we would regret it if we didn’t walk on that beach.
So we walked the wooden staircase down to the beach just as the sun was setting over the horizon and casting a beautiful purple-blue haze over everything around.
our cameras didn’t last long in the dark, but it was an evening for our memories.
