coffee in bend

Day 4 of our oregon road trip, we woke up in bend.

Having just left a heat wave and draught back home in vancouver, we were longing for the crisp chill of sunny fall days, and on this morning we got exactly that. it felt like fall in bend. The sky was clear, the sun was shining, but the cool wind was enough to make us want to bundle up in our toques and find a warm coffee to start the morning.

lone pine became our favourite coffee shop of the trip, and for good reason. Delicious coffees + homemade poptarts and cruffins… need we say more?

i feel like some days are just destined to be magic. and this was definitely one of those days. once we had our coffees we hit the road for a couple of adventures. Proxy falls and smith rock were on the agenda for the day, and this was the perfect way to start it all off.
