A dreamy ucuelet getaway in the nori suite
day two of our ucuelet getaway was nothing short of a daydream. we spent this night in the lulxury of the nori suite - if you missed our previous post highlighting the hasumi cabin, so be sure to check out our Hasumi Cabin post here.
as with the hasumi cabin, upon walking in the door, the sheer beauty of this suite took our breath away. we were greeted with the framiliar thoughful design details, and a feeling that we were home sweet home.
it didn’t take long for us to settle into our studio suite, and to be perfectly honest, if we could have lived there for the rest of our lives, we would have happily done so.
the studio layout came complete with a king sized bed, a fully equipped kitchen, the dreamiest bathroom you ever did see, and a sauna with an ocean view. what more could you ask for?
waking up to a view and the soft sound of ocean waves is something i will never forget.
And correct me if i’m wrong, but this sauna might have the prettiest view…
the light in this suite as the sun set was absolutely dreamy. no matter where you looked, you were greeted with a picturesque view - whether it was the ocean just outside the patio doors, or the way the light shadows danced across the room, or the artwork on the walls, or the design details of the woodwork - it was hard not to simply sit in awe, taking in the subtle details of the space.
once the sun had set, we took a blue hour walk down to the rocky coast below, and watched the tide slowly start to make its way back in. we could have sat there for hours just staring at the waves rolling in and out.
staying here was perfect because it was beauty in it’s purest form; it was silence; it was slow; it was rugged; it was simple; it was to be one with nature; it was to be free from the hustle; it was peace.
we will never forget our time here, and we will always, always be grateful for it.
